We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our school community. This position works 2.5 days at Appleton Village School and 2.5 days at Lincolnville Central School.
This position provides occupational services to identified students per IEP, including direct occupational therapy, consultations, associated paperwork, evaluations, and attendance at IEP meetings. In addition, this position collaborates with teachers and other service providers to assist in making modifications and accommodations in their classroom.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with and be able to complete required State Special Education paperwork associated with assessments, evaluation reports, IEPs, and progress reports.
Current Maine Occupational Therapist license and current fingerprints through Maine DOE required.

ESY Contracted Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist
Appleton Village School
School Union 69 is seeking a contracted Occupational Therapist and a contracted Speech Therapist for the Appleton Village School ESY summer program. The program will run for four weeks, beginning July 7th and ending July 30th, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. OT and Speech services will be one day a week for each service.
Qualifications:
- Maine Occupational Therapist / Speech Therapist certification and licensure
- Maine Criminal History Background Check
- Experience in an educational setting preferred.
Reports to: Special Education Director
Candidate will:
- Provide therapy services to identified students, including direct therapy and consultation.
- Collaborate with ESY teachers and other service providers
- Applicants for this position must have the appropriate education, background, experience and licensure.
